The idea of other civilizations on other worlds is taken for granted now. We’ll find them or they’ll find us. We’re just waiting for it to happen.
Of course we assume they’re going to be responsive and available. We’re convinced everybody wants to see us coming. We’re in God’s image.
Now, explain “God” to them, and keep your finger on the trigger.
